Homework Help

Reaching Up offers an after-school Homework Help program to provide academic support four days a week for elementary, middle school students and high school students based on financial need and referrals from schools in district 196. This year have transportation for students from Black Hawk Middle School, Falcon Ridge Middle School, Greenleaf Elementary and Oak Ridge Elementary.

Youth work in low ratios with a Homework Help Volunteers in the areas of reading, math, language/spelling and science. Homework Help is located at Easter Lutheran Church at 4545 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan (corner of Pilot Knob and Cliff – see map). Volunteers come from participating High Schools, Colleges, Retirees, local churches and businesses to provide consistent support. Healthy meals are provided by Loaves and Fishes at every Homework Help session for participants and volunteers.
